represents my ongoing project of video recording local Sacramento,
California folk dance events and posting the dances to the web. Most of
the videos were filmed with a stationary camera because I love to dance
to much to be stuck behind it at a fun party. My wife Patty shot the
video from the Romanian Parties. Philip Liberman shot the video of Jan Stephens
in Placerville. If you have questions or

alphabetically both on the video players and on the accompanying
list, click on the appropriate letter to find the dance you want.
The dances presented are how they are currently being done by the
folk dance clubs in Northern California. There may be cultural
differences in the way the dance is done in this area and the
way the dance is done in your area. If you want the final word
on how a dance is done contact the original collector/choreographer
and see if they have a video available.

Change has came to IFDVL.ORG. Brightcove has canceled their free video
hosting service. I have moved my videos to my
